    How do I consign with Sassy's?

    What type of items are accepted?

    Furniture and home decor items are welcome. They should be clean and in very good to excellent condition. If you wouldn't want to purchase the item, chances are our customers won't either.

    We accept Juniors and Women's clothing and accessories in designer and department store brands. Casual, resort casual and business casual clothing is preferred, but we do take a limited selection of dresses, suits and pantsuits for the professional woman. Shoes, handbags and other accessory items are encouraged, as well as vintage, estate and fine jewelry. We do not accept bridal or bridesmaids' gowns, lingerie/intimates, nightwear or swimsuits.


    What is the Consignment Policy?

    All clothing must be clean, pressed, odor- and wrinkle-free, on disposable hangers, in excellent condition and currently in fashion. We love vintage pieces if they meet the previous guidelines and are desirable. Shoes, handbags and leather goods must be in excellent, like-new condition and stylish. Jewelry must be tagged and/or carded - this ensures that it will reach the sales floor more quickly as tagging and carding these items is very time-consuming.


    When do we accept consignments?

    Clothing Consignments are accepted Monday through Saturday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Furniture and Home Décor consignments are accepted Monday through Saturday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.


    What is the advantage of consigning?

    You have made an investment in your furniture, home decor, clothing and accessories over the years. But as your lifestyle changes, so does your home and wardrobe. But what to do? Spend your valuable time on Saturday haggling with strangers over whether you're willing to take fifty cents for that designer sweater? Or twenty-five cents for those designer jeans? Spend even more time and effort trying to sell them on-line? Invite strangers into your home to look at your furniture? hmmm Why not bring your treasures here where they will get broader exposure to more people 6 days a week on our 3,000sf sales floor, and can be showcased in our large, street-front display windows or on our website? We do the work, you just collect your payment once your items sell.


    Why shop consignment?

    Because you can get first quality furniture, decor, designer and department store items at a fraction of the price. And you'll enjoy the "personal touch" that comes with shopping in a smaller boutique environment.
    PLUS, you can avoid the hassles and crowds at the mall!!


    How do I get paid?

    Payment is available on the 15th of each month following the month in which the item(s) sell. You can pick up your payment at the store, we will mail a check to you (a small fee applies) or we will make your payment directly into your PayPal account.
